I've been involved with the fiber arts community online for the last 5 years as a knit-blogger and I was bitten by the spinning bug about 2 years ago. While I do enjoy knitting & crochet - spinning is my passion. I love the feel of the fibers as they spin through my fingers and the way the colors flow through the finished yarns. I love to knit with handspun yarns because there is a character and soul to these yarns that cannot be produced by a machine.

I have been selling my own hand crafts online and at craft shows across the US for the last 10 years. I firmly believe in supporting local artists and makers of handmade goods.. which is why I am an active member of Etsy.com both as a buyer and a seller. Currently all of the rovings I buy for spinning are purchased from vendors on Etsy and I am happy to support their businesses and fiber farms.
